As a Senior Ecologist at Ramboll, you will be part of our Environment and Health division, working on a range of projects spanning areas such as transport, residential and commercial development, and renewable energy. Your role will involve managing and undertaking ecological surveys, reporting, ecological mitigation design and liaising with relevant stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and undertaking ecological surveys and producing high-quality reports
  • Undertaking ecological mitigation design and delivery
  • Liaising with ecological regulators and planning authorities
  • Managing small to medium-scale projects with input on large-scale projects
  • Main point of contact with project managers, clients, partner organisations and sub-consultants
  • Delivering technical work on complex projects
  • Fee proposal preparation and assisting with client relationship management
  • Supervision and management of more junior ecologists and sub-consultants
