SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are collaborating with a school in St Albans to recruit outstanding SEN Teaching Assistants for day-to-day, short-term, and long-term positions. The school aims to create an outstanding learning environment that nurtures students' social, intellectual, and emotional growth and helps them develop new and existing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one sessions with special needs students to support their learning and development.
  • Assist with classroom management and create a positive and safe classroom atmosphere.
  • Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom activities.
  • Help maintain a clean and organised learning environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young children, especially in an educational setting, is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Willingness to collaborate with teachers and support staff.
  • A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
