Company Overview

Our client, an independent consultancy in Cornwall, is seeking a dedicated and proficient Senior/Town Planner to join their team. This permanent position offers a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional to contribute to a variety of planning applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate broad ranges of planning applications
  • Prepare and submit certificates of lawfulness
  • Handle non-material amendments and discharge of conditions
  • Conduct pre-applications and manage appeal processes
  • Engage with clients, providing expert planning advice and support
  • Collaborate closely with the planning team to ensure project success
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of planning legislation and policies
  • Represent clients at planning committees and public inquiries as required
Job Requirements:
  • Strong experience in town planning
  • Excellent understanding of planning legislation and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
  • Relevant qualification in town planning or a related discipline
Estimated Salary:

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience
