Prestige Staffing Limited is a leading recruitment agency specialising in filling ad hoc shifts and providing temporary and permanent placements in the social care industry for both public and private sectors.
Our client is a group of Children's Homes based in Norwich, providing support to children with emotional behaviour difficulties.
We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team to work on long days and night shifts, sleep ins available.
The aim of the home is to assist young adults in their transitioning from high levels of support towards a more independent style of living, in which to develop their skills and achieve their full potential.
This is a company that wants people to progress and you will get a clear route on how to progress with the company.
As a Support Worker, you will be:
- Being Ambitious for young people, helping them achieve their goals and engagement.
- Build and develop relationships with young people and encourage them to participate fully in the opportunities offered within the home.
- Plan and participate fully in working rota, this will include weekends and sleeps in.
- Support our young people with everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, medical appointments, etc.
Skills & Experience Needed:
- NVQ Level 2 is preferred.
- Experience in a similar setting (desirable).
- Driving Licence (Essential).
We are looking for flexible agency workers as well as staff who would like to go full-time.
