Assistant Category Manager, Baby Products

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement category plans that capture market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity.
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform category strategies and optimize product offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of category plans.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to achieve optimal pricing and terms.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Proven experience in category management, procurement, or buying.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
