Job Title: Asset Calibration Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Calibration Specialist to join our team at Omega Leeds. As a key member of our Engineering Laboratory, you will be responsible for coordinating and carrying out routine maintenance and calibration of all laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and scheduling service and calibration engineering to ensure laboratory equipment remains in service and valid for use.
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and calibration tasks on schedule to ensure laboratory equipment remains in service and valid for use.
  • Coordinating maintenance and collaboration documentation compliance requirements with vendors.
  • Maintaining and upkeeping the equipment assets in the electronic data management system with all maintenance and calibration events.
  • Investigating technical requirements and initiating/upgrading preventive maintenance and calibration process specifications.
Requirements:
  • A' Level, or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
  • Experience in calibration and/or maintenance support for a manufacturing company, or equivalent, with demonstrated skills in writing complex calibration SOPs and technical operating procedures.
  • Understanding of technical metrology requirements, assisting calibration specifications, coordinating, and monitoring new equipment.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a cGMP environment to ISO or FDA regulatory standards is desirable.
  • Good planning skills to produce project timelines.
