Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Specialist to join our team at Priory Lakeside View. As a Nurse Specialist, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with acute mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered care to patients with acute mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of therapeutic programs and interventions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of care services
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers

Requirements

  • Valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
  • Post-registration continuing professional development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of NMC standards, guidelines, and professional practices
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice

Priory Lakeside View is a 28-bedded hospital in Willenhall, providing a person-centered approach and therapeutic environment that promotes collaborative care planning and optimizes treatment goals. Our aim is to support patients to be discharged safely back into the community where they can continue to progress towards recovery in a less restrictive environment.
