This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Catering Assistant within our Retail Services team at Perth Royal Infirmary hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional catering services, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality catering services to meet the needs of our patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to work independently, using initiative and problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
  • Ability to respond constructively to unpredictable situations, remaining calm under pressure.

Working Arrangements

This role is part of our Bank staff, working on an as-and-when-required basis. You will be expected to work a minimum of 7 hours per shift, with opportunities for extra hours available to cover holiday and sickness absences.
