Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of House Catering Supervisor to join our team at Strathallan School in Perth, Scotland. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our catering department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the catering team to deliver high-quality food and beverage services to our clients.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the FOH Manager to plan and execute special events, menus, and promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and Sodexo's quality assurance policies.
  • Lead and motivate the catering team to achieve exceptional results, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of menus, recipes, and food concepts that meet the needs of our clients and align with Sodexo's culinary standards.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of food inventory, sales, and customer feedback.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service and managing a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, health and safety regulations, and Sodexo's quality assurance policies.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel to other Sodexo locations as required.
  • Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate and relevant qualifications in hospitality or a related field.
