Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a skilled and experienced Front of House Catering Supervisor to join our team at Strathallan School in Perth. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our catering department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the catering team, ensuring efficient service delivery and high-quality food presentation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the FOH Manager to plan and execute special events, such as banquets and conferences.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of food inventory, sales, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and Sodexo's quality assurance policies.
  • Lead and motivate the catering team to achieve exceptional results, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities as needed.
  • Work closely with the purchasing team to source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory levels.
  • Develop and implement menu planning and pricing strategies to meet customer demands and increase revenue.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service and managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, health and safety protocols, and quality assurance standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate and relevant qualifications in hospitality or a related field.
