Senior Vice President of Diligence Management

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Vice President of Diligence Management to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our Diligence Management team, you will play a pivotal role in leading all aspects of the due diligence process for infrastructure and transition funds.
Key Responsibilities- Due Diligence Leadership: Partner directly with prospective investors, CRMs, and other stakeholders to lead all aspects of the due diligence process for infrastructure and transition funds.
- Regional Focus: Principally focused on working with infrastructure and transition investors in EMEA and APAC, but may cover Americas investors from time to time.
- Deliverables Oversight: Responsible for oversight and quality control across all due diligence deliverables necessary to advance clients during fundraising, including DDQs, RFPs, RFIs, quantitative datasets, IDD / ODD presentations.
- Team Management: Managing a team through all stages of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, learning and development, on-the-job training and support, performance management, and compensation.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Establishing strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure the team can successfully respond to investor diligence requests, especially the investor relations team and investment professionals as well as Fundraise Management and CRM team.
- Interaction Planning: Planning and overseeing interactions between prospective investors and investment teams or other subject matter experts (tax, legal, operational) as part of fund due diligence, including leading calls, meetings, asset tours, arranging on-sites, due diligence days.
- Diligence Planning: Working directly with clients and CRMs to design individual diligence plans and tracking and reporting on all due diligence activities, both internally and to clients.
- Industry Knowledge: Building a thorough understanding of the firm's infrastructure and transition funds, investment strategies, and portfolio as well as its corporate setup, history, operations to facilitate the accurate and consistent creation of diligence content.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to work directly with clients, CRMs, senior investment professionals, and other team members at different experience levels under tight deadlines and across jurisdictions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business management, marketing, communications, or other relevant discipline.
- Advanced Education: Master's degree or MBA would be an advantage.
- Professional Designations: CFA, CAIA, or similar designations are also advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years working with private funds in the infrastructure, transition, renewable, and/or impact asset classes focusing on marketing, due diligence, sales, client services, or other fundraising or client function.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with investment products and services, including a strong understanding of the infrastructure, transition, renewable, and/or impact asset classes and investment strategies; experience in an institutional private fund marketing environment is highly desired.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, with experience in managing timelines, resources, and stakeholders across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Software Tools: Experience in relevant software tools or equivalents is a plus (Salesforce, Loopio, PowerBI, Mercatus, Seismic).
