Consultant Psychiatrist Adult Community Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Adult Community Mental Health Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessments, formulating biopsychosocial care plans, and offering evidence-based treatment and advice to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage, appraise, and provide professional supervision to junior medical staff, ensuring they operate within the parameters of the New Deal and are Working Time Directive compliant.
- Undertake administrative duties associated with patient care, including recording clinical activity accurately and submitting it promptly to the Information Department.
- Participate in service and business planning activities for the locality and contribute to the development of the mental health service.
- Participate in annual appraisal for consultants and contribute to the improvement of clinical services.

Requirements- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- MRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
- CCT in Psychiatry or inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register in psychiatry.
