About the RoleWe're looking for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of sports sponsorship and marketing. As an Account Director, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our client's account, including project management, budgeting, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate complex events and projects across multiple international markets
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of seven to deliver exceptional results
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive client objectives and growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and effective use of partnership rights and benefits
- Proactively manage client and stakeholder relationships to establish trusted adviser status
- Oversee budgeting, invoicing, and financial management, including regular use of our client's budget management platform
- Work closely with the Head of Client Services and Brand Activation Account Director to identify opportunities for growth and development
- Proven ability to manage complex multifaceted events, projects, and cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of marketing, communications, client services, and project management, particularly in a sports sponsorship context
- Experience in managing large complex budgets and commercial awareness
- Resilient and forward-thinking nature, with ability to communicate effectively in a leading foreign language
