Role Overview:

The Dark Store Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient and compliant management of intake, pick packing, and outturn processes. You'll lead a diverse team of 20-30 staff, driving operational efficiency while meeting critical KPIs.

  • Driver Recruitment & Engagement: Build and maintain a strong network of drivers, ensuring seamless communication and efficient recruitment.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage the full dark store operation, including intake, pick packing, and outturn processes, ensuring all operations are within legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 20-30 employees, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performance culture.
  • KPI Management: Monitor and manage operational KPIs to ensure timely and efficient deliveries, using data to make informed decisions.
  • Cultural Leadership: Embrace and promote our company's values of diversity and inclusion, fostering a multicultural environment where all team members can thrive.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in dark store, warehouse, or e-commerce operations management.
  • In-depth understanding of intake, pick packing, and outturn processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience managing a team of 20-30 staff.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience managing KPIs to drive performance.
