Exciting Opportunity for a Litigation and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Solicitor/Legal Executive to join our thriving team at Lightfoots LLP, reporting to the Litigation Partner. The ideal candidate will have significant legal experience with a background in either property or banking & finance dispute resolution.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice on matters of dispute, including financial services regulation and risk
  • Analysing and evaluating cases to assist clients in their choice of strategy
  • Developing strong relationships with clients and keeping up to date with changes in law
  • Drafting settlement agreements and consent orders where appropriate
  • Briefing counsel and overseeing contested possession claims
  • Managing MI and analysing loan agreements, mortgages, personal guarantees, debentures and other forms of security

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum 3 years PQE OR substantial experience in Commercial law
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritise, be agile and manage own workload
