Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent services.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to lifelong learning and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for participating as a member of the nursing team to provide a high standard of research-based care, supporting the team of staff working in the area to deliver a quality service, and supporting the Sisters/Charge Nurses and Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in the training and development of junior staff.

Main Duties of the Job

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent services
  • Participating as a member of the nursing team to provide a high standard of research-based care
  • Supporting the team of staff working in the area to deliver a quality service
  • Supporting the Sisters/Charge Nurses and Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in the training and development of junior staff

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have:

  • Current registration in home country
  • Commitment to lifelong learning
  • Evidence of further education, training, and on-going learning
  • Ability to produce an updated personal professional portfolio
  • Eligibility to join the NMC register following completion of the test of competence and OSCE
