Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to help identify new opportunities, analyse critical information, and support our mission of developing life-changing genetic treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Organise and analyse internal research data to identify key insights that will inform future research activities and business strategy.
- Gather, organise and analyse external data, including scientific literature and databases, regulatory filings, clinical trial registries, press releases, industry reports and trends to identify both potential collaborative opportunities as well as to provide program-specific recommendations and insights.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external colleagues and provide ad-hoc analytical support when required.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualisations to clearly communicate data-driven insights to the organisation.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and security when handling sensitive data related to proprietary research findings.
- A PhD (or at least a master's degree) in Medical Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, or related discipline.
- Strong understanding of scientific literature, research methodologies and clinical data, and familiarity with public databases like PubMed, and other gene therapy or genetic disease-focused databases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Enthusiasm about scientific research and its potential to make a significant impact on human health.
