About the Role

FAI Farms Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Data Assistant to join our UK team. As a key member of our FAI Insite team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of science-led, data-focused sustainability consultancy programmes for our clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing front-line user support to FAI's data software clients, conducting data collection, data entry, data cleaning, and running data reports and analysis for clients. You will also be responsible for delivering client training, generating training materials and presentations, documenting processes, and creating SOPs for FAI's software solutions.

In addition, you will identify opportunities for improvements and further development for our data systems and reporting, user-test new software products, web services, and reporting tools, and support research and scientific literature review activities on various food supply chain sustainability issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front-line user support to FAI's data software clients
  • Conduct data collection, data entry, data cleaning, and running data reports and analysis for clients
  • Deliver client training and generate training materials and presentations
  • Document processes and create SOPs for FAI's software solutions
  • Identify opportunities for improvements and further development for our data systems and reporting
  • User-test new software products, web services, and reporting tools
  • Support research and scientific literature review activities on various food supply chain sustainability issues
Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Undergraduate level education in Agriculture/Animal Science, or Sustainability/Environmental science
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), data handling, statistical and mathematical competency
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

  • Interest in sustainable livestock, aquaculture, and fisheries supply chains and regenerative agriculture
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work and a 'can-do' attitude
  • Interest in the development and interrogation of data to drive sustainability in agriculture and aquaculture
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Comfortable with working remotely and with colleagues in various international locations
  • Self-motivated, conscientious, and autonomous with effective time management abilities
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to deliver quality work on time for multiple, simultaneous projects
  • Appreciation of scientific processes and rigour
