Safety Control Specialist

Cranleigh Scientific Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced EHS professional to join our Head Office team on a full-time, permanent basis. As an EHS Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's adherence to all statutory environmental, health, safety, and welfare requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS matters, including safe working practices and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies to improve EHS performance.
- Act as Chief Fire Marshal, maintaining the fire risk assessment, overseeing fire safety checks, and leading the Fire Marshal Team.
- NEBOSH General Certificate is essential; NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Proven experience in EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively, with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
