Special Educational Needs Speech and Language Therapist Position
We are looking for a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to work closely with our team and play a vital role in the educational journey of children with special educational needs.
Key Duties:- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' communication difficulties, informing the development of targeted interventions and therapy plans.
- Design and deliver therapy sessions that cater to students' unique needs, leveraging evidence-based practices and adapting to their individual learning styles.
- Maintain close collaboration with teachers and support staff, providing consultation and training to enhance their understanding of students' needs and promote a cohesive approach to communication development.
- Evaluate students' progress regularly, refining therapy plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and continued growth.
- Empower students to reach their full potential by providing a supportive environment, fostering social-emotional growth, and promoting academic success.
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with experience in special education (SEN experience preferred).
- Membership in the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Commitment to supporting children with special educational needs and a passion for their overall development and well-being.
