Job Title: Assistant Retail Manager

Marie Curie UK is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for maximizing sales and providing excellent customer service in our shop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize sales by maintaining high standards of display and layout in the shop and shop windows.
  • Ensure that stock density is maintained, regular rotation of stock is carried out, and maximum realistic prices are obtained on donated items, in accordance with charity guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that customers have a positive experience in the shop.
  • Manage the shop's stock, including receiving, processing, and selling donated items.
  • Work collaboratively with the retail team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • The ability to communicate with tact and discretion.
  • Experience of cash handling and financial management procedures (including completion of sales records).
  • The ability to make decisions within agreed parameters.
