About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at HMP Lewes, a category B male prison located near the centre of the historical town of Lewes.

This site features both a pharmacy and a dispenser, supported by a highly skilled and cohesive team of six. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the team to provide excellent healthcare services to patients.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Holding NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC)
  • Providing exceptional support to the pharmacy team to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or above, BTEC or equivalent
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD)
  • Relevant post-qualification experience working within a pharmacy environment
  • General GCSE education or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Arrangements

This is a permanent position working full-time hours. The salary for this role is £21,448 per annum, which reflects the location and industry standards.
