Crisis, the national charity for homeless people, is seeking a skilled storyteller to join their team. As a Christmas Stories Officer, you will work closely with individuals experiencing homelessness to share their stories and voices through various media channels.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing, editing, and interviewing skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with guests and staff. You will work collaboratively with the Stories team to create engaging content packages that showcase the experiences of Crisis at Christmas guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with guests and staff to develop story content packages
  • Edit and review content to ensure safe and ethical sharing
  • Liaise with teams to plan and deliver storytelling during Crisis at Christmas

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a creative approach to storytelling, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A passion for supporting people to share their voices and end homelessness is essential.
