Job Role Overview

The Reserve Traffic Office Administrator will play a vital part in supporting a safe, efficient, and cost-effective fleet. This role will be responsible for ensuring the Distribution Management System is up to date, data is correctly input daily, and all drivers are debriefed at the end of their duty.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Management: Ensure the Distribution Management System is kept up to date and data correctly input daily.
  • Driver Debriefing: Ensure all drivers are debriefed at the end of their duty and any unresolved issues are passed onto the shift manager.
  • Vehicle Management: Issue vehicle keys and logbooks in line with Royal Mail standards, and ensure digital tacho cards are downloaded in line with Royal Mail policy.
  • Maintenance Management: Ensure planned maintenance is carried out for vehicles and that the maintenance board and vehicle files are kept up to date.

Requirements

  • Organisational Skills: Organised, independent, and able to adapt.
  • Technical Skills: Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Confidentiality: Able to input data to set deadlines while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Driving Licence: Hold a full UK driving licence with less than 6 penalty points for driving up to 3.5t vehicle (van) to take drivers to vehicle workshops to collect HGV vehicles.
