Event Planning and Coordination Specialist

The role of an Event Planning and Coordination Specialist is to oversee the planning and delivery of first aid and medical provision at events across the UK. This involves contributing to the development of event plans, assisting with resourcing and deployment, and supporting with event logistics. The successful candidate will be required to work unsociable hours including weekends and travel across their region.

With a strong focus on patient care, this role requires someone who can develop and manage detailed plans identifying levels of resources required and producing risk assessments. They must also own and lead on the planning of assigned events within a geographical area, ensuring any issues identified are escalated appropriately. Additionally, they will be responsible for representing St John at external multiagency meetings and safety advisory groups to support the delivery of mass participation events.
