We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust in Hastings, East Sussex.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to local service development and work closely with Senior Managers and other consultants. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with severe mental illnesses, working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
The role attracts a Recruitment and Retention payment of £25,000, in addition to a relocation allowance of up to £8,000. The payment is pro rata for part-time employees.
- A one-off payment of £5,000 on appointment
- A retention payment of £5,000 at 12 months of employment
- A retention payment of £6,500 at 30 months of employment
- A retention payment of £8,500 at 48 months of employment
- Assessing and treating patients with severe mental illnesses
- Contributing to local service development and improvement initiatives
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve high-quality patient care
- Fulfillment of Basic Medical Training requirements
- Full GMC/UK registration
- MRC Psych or equivalent qualification
- CST entry onto the GMC Specialist Register within 6 months
- Section 12 approval and AC approval
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
