**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Business Transformation Specialist to join our team at Thistle Insurance Services. As a Business Transformation Specialist, you will play a key role in driving business transformation and process improvement initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyzing Current State Processes: Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement in current state processes.
- Gathering and Documenting Business Requirements: Gather and document business requirements for in-house PAS (policy admin system) functional build.
- Defining and Documenting Future State Processes: Work with stakeholders to design new processes that are efficient, effective, and aligned with the new Policy Admin System.
- Leading Interviews and Workshops: Take the lead in interviews with stakeholders, facilitating workshops and other requirements gathering meetings.
- Delivering High-Quality Project Documentation: Deliver high-quality project documentation (process flows, requirements, user stories) according to existing standards.
- Managing Stakeholders: Manage stakeholders to achieve sign-off of requirements.
- Collaborating with IT Developers: Work with IT Developers to agree on an appropriate solution to support requirements.
- Capturing and Organizing Data: Capture data elements, organize and model data to support or improve recommendations.
- Ensuring Cross-Project Team Collaboration: Ensure cross-project team and business stakeholder collaboration.
- Demonstrable Experience: Demonstrable experience writing requirements specifications and User Stories and obtaining business agreement.
- Experience with Multi-Disciplined Development Teams: Experience of working with multi-disciplined development teams, including external vendors and agencies providing services for projects.
- Previous Experience in Insurance Environment: Previous experience of business analysis within an Insurance environment.
- Technical Skills: MS Office suite, including Excel / Visio knowledge and skills.
- Project Delivery Methodologies: Knowledge and experience of a range of project delivery methodologies (Agile & Waterfall).
- Gathering Business Requirements: Experience of gathering business requirements using a variety of techniques from representatives at different levels of the business.
