About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lighting Project Manager to join our team at Broadwick, a leading international company that creates, develops, and operates a diverse portfolio of venues, spaces, events, and experiences. As a Senior Lighting Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of lighting for various events across Magazine London and Exhibition White City.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of lighting on each project, including producing creative and functional lighting designs and presenting them to clients.
  • Work closely with event planners to develop timelines, budgets, and lighting plans that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with project Production Managers to ensure lighting ties in with overall production in terms of practicality and impact.
  • Produce kit lists for all projects, maximizing internal stock and arranging sub-hires where necessary.
  • Ensure all equipment and supplies are ordered, delivered, and set up in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Schedule and book on-site lighting teams, including operators, crew chiefs, and technicians.
  • Produce lighting plans and schematics using Vectorworks for lighting teams on site.
  • Oversee on-site production of events, ensuring all activities are carried out smoothly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure all contracts are fulfilled and all parties involved in the event are working together seamlessly.
  • Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure all costs are kept within budget.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during events and work to find creative solutions that keep the event running smoothly.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service, ensuring all clients are satisfied with the event production process.
  • Develop and retain client relationships to generate new opportunities.
  • Work with the sales and marketing team to provide event-specific information to help develop content and strategies.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in event lighting production.
  • Strong creative and lighting design skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Vectorworks Spotlight.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors and contractors.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
  • Knowledge of event industry best practices and trends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft/Google packages.
