Learning and Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching, with experience working with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and other additional educational needs.
This role is perfect for those who want to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people and provide them with the support they need to succeed academically and personally.
About the Role:
- Provide one-to-one tuition in Maths, English or Science to students with SEN, SEMH, MLD/SLD or other additional educational needs.
- Support students referred by local authorities and schools.
- Deliver flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
Requirements:
- Professional Teaching Qualifications.
- Minimum 2 years' teaching experience.
- Experience working with students with SEN, SEMH, MLD, SLD and/or other additional educational needs.
- Enhanced DBS and two professional references.
- Able to work in a way that promotes the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people, following safeguarding policies and procedures.
