Job Description

Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 per annum (Grade 4-5)

About the Position

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic District Development Officer to join our planning policy team at South and Vale District Council. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the development of innovative approaches and best practice policies.

As a District Development Officer, your primary responsibility will be to assist in progressing the Joint Local Plan through examination. You will work closely with a team of over 20 professionals to achieve this goal. In addition, you will support public consultations, work with neighbouring authorities on cross-boundary matters, and engage in other activities related to the team's work.
