About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Cardiac MRI Clinical Fellow to join our dynamic team at Charing Cross Hospital.

As a Junior Clinical Fellow in anaesthesia, you will be responsible for taking part in a 1:8 junior registrar on-call rota alongside other trainees. The majority of your clinical time will be spent on a variety of surgical lists covering Neurosurgery (including interventional neuro-radiology), Head and Neck (including robotic assisted surgery), General oncology, Urology (including robotic assisted surgery), ENT, Plastics, Colorectal (including HIPEC), Orthopaedics and Ophthalmology.

Main Responsibilities
  • Participate in a 1:8 junior registrar on-call rota alongside other trainees
  • Spend majority of clinical time on various surgical lists

The post-holder will support developments in education, research, leadership and quality improvement projects within the Trust.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full GMC registration/licensure
  • Primary FRCA (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated broad range of clinical and assessment skills in anaesthesia
  • Advanced life support (ALS) provider or equivalent

A minimum of 4 years' experience in anaesthesia and intensive care in a structured training programme is also required.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £41,750 - £64,288 per annum plus London Weighting. We also offer a range of benefits, including career development opportunities, flexible working and wellbeing support.
