Facilities Management Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Management Coordinator to join our team at NHS Property Services.
About the RoleThis is a 6-month fixed-term contract position responsible for ensuring that local site services meet the needs of colleagues, patients, and visitors within NHS Property Services premises in accordance with policies and procedures, legislation, and statutory requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of in-house/outsourced services in a facilities service provision across a portfolio of properties, supporting the Senior Estates Manager in achieving this goal.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and managing facility services to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Developing and implementing facility management plans to improve efficiency and reduce costs;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives;
- Providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and external partners;
- Managing budgets and financial resources effectively;
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in facilities management;
About You
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong administration and Microsoft Office skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities management or a related field, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional requirements include:
- Knowledge of FM building compliance, healthcare cleanliness standards;
- Able to work as part of a team but also capable of working independently within appropriate delivery guidelines;
- Demonstrable experience in dealing with customers, partners, and the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information;
- Data-driven decision making;
- Knowledge of achieving service delivery KPIs and associated targets;
