About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neonatal Clinical Educator to join our team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Neonatal Service, you will be responsible for facilitating effective training and education programs to clinically and professionally develop staff within the Neonatal service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an authoritative resource for the Neonatal Education Strategy.
  • Provide strong clinical leadership skills, supporting, energising, inspiring and empowering others in pursuit of a shared vision to ensure the effective education of the Neonatal Nursing and support team.
  • To be responsible for the delivery of safe quality nursing care in accordance with clinical pathways and governance frameworks.
Requirements
  • Recent experience in Neonatal nursing at Band 5 or above.
  • Evidence of teaching in clinical practice.
  • Recent experience in providing intensive, high dependency and special care for babies in a neonatal unit.
  • Evidence of teaching & mentoring pre & post registration staff.
  • Committed to on-going professional development.
  • Experience with the Training Needs Analysis process/IPR's.
  • Basic computer/keyboard skills.
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding Children & Vulnerable Adults processes.
  • Ability to adapt to change and be flexible to the needs of the service.
