Job Title: Clinical Educator - Neonatal Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our Neonatal Services team at Boston Pilgrim Hospital. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a vital role in facilitating effective training and education programs to develop the clinical and professional skills of our staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of neonatal nursing staff
  • Collaborate with the Practice Development Nurse and Ward Manager to identify education needs and develop strategies to address them
  • Provide mentorship and support to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Contribute to the development of the Neonatal Education Strategy and ensure its implementation
  • Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements:
  • Current First Level Registered Nurse/RSCN or equivalent
  • Evidence of mentorship and preceptorship experience
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent
  • Hold current NLS provider certificate
  • Recent experience in neonatal nursing at Band 5 or above
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and be flexible to the needs of the service
