Job Purpose

As the Assistant Shop Manager, your role is to support the Shop Manager in managing the shop in line with company policies, maximizing sales and profits while increasing the profile of Shaw Trust. By supporting the Shop Manager, you will play a key role in achieving financial goals, maintaining high standards, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Shop Manager in managing the shop, including sales, profits, and customer service.
  • Assist in maintaining high standards of customer service, product knowledge, and shop appearance.
  • Contribute to achieving financial goals, including sales targets and profit margins.
  • Support the Shop Manager in managing staff, including training, development, and performance management.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records, including sales data, stock levels, and customer information.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of systems, software, technologies, communications, and suppliers to support business needs, with an emphasis on Microsoft-based products.
  • Experience with Windows desktop OS and Office 365.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of hardware, including printers, tablets, mobiles, and laptops.
  • Previous extensive experience in IT and/or Telecoms Service Desk experience.
