About the Opportunity

Pearson is looking for an experienced Assessment Director to lead our team of examiners, moderators, and verifiers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our assessments, as well as providing support and feedback to our Principal Examiners and Moderators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and feedback for new and existing Principal Examiners/Moderators when requested
  • Sampling marking/moderation from the Principal Examiners/Moderators using the appropriate Pearson systems
  • Carrying out sense check and comparative judgement activities following pre-award meetings where required

As a successful candidate, you will have a comprehensive knowledge of the specification for your specialist sector, including internal and external requirements, and be able to demonstrate examples of when you were asked to lead/support essential quality assurance activities.

Benefits

In addition to a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, you will also receive a comprehensive pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
