Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Social Work Services Manager at Progressive Care Limited. This position is based in Northwest England and involves leading social work services, ensuring timely and high-quality assessments and interventions that secure positive outcomes for children and families.

The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Social Work and current registration with the relevant regulatory body. They will possess extensive experience in managing social work services, including supervision of staff and oversight of complex cases. Additionally, they should be an expert in child and family assessments, safeguarding, and risk management.

This is a competitive salary range of £48,401.60 - £53,996.80 per annum. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including career progression opportunities, comprehensive induction and training, company pension scheme, and travel expenses.

In this role, you will oversee social workers completing family assessments using the service model and framework, evaluating risks, harm, parenting capacity, and family strengths. You will also support social workers in implementing tailored strategies to address risks, including managing challenging behaviors in family settings.

As a leader, you will chair and participate in key meetings to monitor progress, address delays, and ensure plans are implemented within agreed timescales. You will collaborate with partner agencies to address safety concerns effectively and triangulate information for informed decision-making.
