Job Title: Skilled Paint Sprayer

Marshall, a leading provider of deployable operational infrastructure and mission support, is seeking a highly skilled Paint Sprayer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality paint finishes for our military and security projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Production Managers and Team Leaders in ensuring timely, within-budget, and high-quality delivery of Marshall Land System projects.
  • Take an active role in continuous improvements, including lean and 5s procedures, to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Supervise and guide other operators within the team, ensuring adherence to paint and quality standards.
  • Ensure all operators work in line with Marshall Health and Safety management systems.
  • Lead continuous improvements to include lean and 5s procedures, ensuring a clean and compliant work area at all times.
  • Manage equipment and tooling required for the paint shop, ensuring availability and maintenance.
  • Attend and support production meetings, assisting the Paint Shop Manager with paint shop performance and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Manage daily time sheets and ensure history cards are completed at the time of work.
  • Ensure high standards of housekeeping and requisition paint and materials for the shop floor.
  • Complete online repair slips for plant and tool maintenance and respond timely to inspection reports.
  • Highlight and manage abnormalities, implementing and maintaining department processes and systems.
  • Liaise with internal suppliers and customers to ensure compliance with programs.
  • Audit spray booths to ensure they are working at the correct time and temperature.
Requirements:
  • Experience in commercial vehicle, motor trade, and aircraft paint spraying.
  • City and Guilds Apprenticeship or equivalent time served.
