About the Department
Our technology function is evolving, following a period of large-scale transformation. We are transitioning to a Product Model, and as part of this shift, we are establishing a Platforms & Engineering team within Enterprise Services. This team will be responsible for critical areas such as our Snowflake data platform, API and Integration, DevSecOps, and Enterprise Automation. The role sits within the Enterprise Automation team, which plays a key role in driving automation across our infrastructure and operations.
About the Role
As the Lead for the Infrastructure Automation team, you will enable various teams to adopt automation and platform services optimally. Reporting to the Head of Platforms and Engineering, you will lead a team of engineers focused on developing and implementing infrastructure automation solutions. You will bring technical expertise in areas such as infrastructure-as-code (IaC), DevOps, and Agile methodologies, while working closely with key stakeholders to optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Infrastructure Automation team to support automation strategy execution.
- Design and implement infrastructure automation solutions, driving efficiency and scalability.
- Develop tools to automate infrastructure management, monitoring, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure through automation and reduce manual intervention.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations through automated processes.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in automation, optimizing resources for cost savings.
- Contribute to enhancing customer experience by improving infrastructure performance and reliability.
- Expertise in infrastructure automation platforms (Terraform, Chef, Ansible) and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub).
- Proficiency in cloud services (Azure, AWS) and container management (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Extensive knowledge of networking, security, virtualization, and monitoring tools.
