Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Verification Specialist to join our team at Elecnor Deimos. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the verification of the GNC subsystem, ensuring that our spacecraft systems meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement detailed test plans and procedures for the GNC subsystem;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the GNC subsystem meets the required specifications and standards;
  • Conduct thorough testing and verification of the GNC subsystem to identify and resolve any issues or defects;
  • Work closely with the AOCS/GNC competence center to develop and improve internal processes and procedures;
  • Ensure that all test results and documentation are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field;
  • At least 3 years of experience in functional verification, with a strong background in GNC/AOCS systems;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in flight operations in ESA/European programmes;
  • Experience in avionics verifications campaigns;
  • Solid theoretical background in GNC/AOCS systems.

Language Skills:

Good level of English, spoken and written.

  • Responsibility towards the customer and colleagues.
