Job Description Summary

Oxa Autonomy is seeking a Senior Functional Safety Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our safety engineering group, you will be responsible for ensuring the development of safe and reliable autonomous vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement safety engineering strategies to meet industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define verification and validation strategies.
  • Perform safety analyses using relevant engineering methods.
  • Derive and define safety requirements.
  • Manage safety requirements from customers or suppliers.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in functional safety and SOTIF implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, including ISO 26262 and ISO/DIS 21448.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Collaborative and proactive approach.

£85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
