About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our team at Spicerhaart in Rayleigh. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring that our properties meet the highest standards of quality and safety, and managing the day-to-day operations of our residential lettings business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Booking and conducting property inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory health and safety standards
  • Negotiating tenancy extensions and renewals to maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants
  • Coordinating with contractors to manage maintenance and repair issues at properties
  • Processing deposit returns and resolving rental arrears in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensuring that all properties meet the required standards for lettings and sales
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and other stakeholders
  • Managing complaints and resolving issues in a fair and transparent manner
  • Completing all check-in and check-out procedures, including full inventory reports

Requirements

  • A full UK driving licence for a manual vehicle
  • Previous experience in a property management role or customer-facing and administrative roles
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a strong telephone manner
  • IT skills and attention to detail

What We Offer

  • A competitive basic salary range of £18,000 to £27,500 per year, dependent on experience
  • Up to £5,400 in capped commission (in addition to basic salary)
  • A further £2,725 uncapped commission target (in addition to basic salary)
  • Minimum on-target earnings of £26,125+ per year

  • Full-time working hours: 08:30-18:00 (weekdays) and 09:00-17:00 (one in every four Saturdays, with a day in lieu in exchange)
