Academic Support Specialist for Students with Autism

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work with autistic pupils in a supportive and inclusive environment.
The successful candidate will have experience working with students with Severe Learning Difficulties or on the autistic spectrum, demonstrating a strong understanding of autism and its effects on learning.
This role requires an individual who can work independently, demonstrating emotional intelligence, good concentration levels, multitasking skills, and energy.
- Main responsibilities include supporting students with limited communication skills and providing personal care tasks after training.
- The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of ASD, experience with PECS and Makaton, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
**Salary Information:**
The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in supporting the development of our students.
