About the Role

U-Educate is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team at a nurturing, supportive, and inclusive SEMH school in Southampton. As an LSA, you will play a key role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, helping them access their learning, and ensuring that they receive the emotional and behavioral support they need throughout the school day.

Responsibilities
  1. 1:1 and Group Support: Provide individualized and group support to students with SEMH needs, helping them overcome learning and emotional challenges.
  2. Lesson Delivery Support: Assist the classroom teacher in delivering tailored lessons and activities that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  3. Ongoing Professional Development: Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEMH needs.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an enthusiastic and patient individual who has experience working with children or young people with SEMH or other additional needs. A commitment to supporting the social and emotional development of students is essential.
