Job Overview

Arm Limited's Central Technology group is pushing the boundaries of future technology, driving innovation in Arm-based products. We seek a seasoned Principal System Architect to join the CT-Systems Applied Computer Vision Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze sophisticated computer vision, multimedia, and graphics use cases, and data paths in the compute subsystem.
  • Translate their compute, memory bandwidth, and power requirements into heterogeneous system architecture concepts.
  • Contribute to Arm Compute Subsystem architecture definition work by writing system architecture specifications and evaluating novel technologies using system performance models.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Expertise in media subsystem architecture, including hardware and algorithms, with a deep understanding of real use case data-flows in modern heterogeneous compute platforms.
  • Experience in analyzing power and performance of media and vision use cases, including AI compute, data paths, control software, drivers, and APIs.
  • Understanding of the Android software stacks and APIs associated with Multimedia and Graphics processor hardware.
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
  • Expertise in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, AI, and image/video signal processing.
  • Knowledge of video compression algorithms and hardware video accelerators.
