Care Home Director Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Therapeutic Children's Home Director to join our team at SGS Care Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a therapeutic children's home, providing a nurturing environment for young people aged 7-17 who have experienced childhood trauma.

About Our Homes

Our homes are set up to achieve a minimum Ofsted Rating of Good, with a clear focus on providing high-quality care and support to our service users. We have a robust operating framework in place, which ensures that our staff members can focus on making a real difference in the lives of the children they support.

Your Responsibilities

  • To lead a team of dedicated staff members in delivering high-quality care and support to our service users.
  • To ensure that our home operates in accordance with regulatory requirements and our own policies and procedures.
  • To work closely with our Psychologist to develop and deliver therapeutic programs for our service users.

About You

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people. You will have a proven track record of working in residential childcare, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role. You will also hold relevant qualifications, such as the NVQ Level 3 In Children and Young People's Workforce and the LEVEL 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
