Job Description

The Paediatric Neurosurgery department at Great Ormond Street Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Fellow to join their team. This fully funded fellowship provides an excellent opportunity for a neurosurgical trainee to gain valuable experience in the management of common paediatric neurosurgical conditions.

We are looking for a talented individual who has completed their neurosurgical registrar/resident training and has a strong passion for paediatric neurosurgery. The successful candidate will participate in an on-call rota, work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute to advancing equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the management of all common paediatric neurosurgical conditions
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality patient care
  • Contribute to advancing equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace

Requirements:

  • Completed basic neurosurgical training
  • Appropriate GMC registration
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise clinical needs
  • Competence in all aspects of general paediatric surgical management
