Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Accounts Assistant Apprentice at David Allen, a well-established firm with over 150 dedicated professionals across multiple locations in Cumbria and South West Scotland.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a budding accountant to gain hands-on experience working within our Accounts Team, preparing year-end financial statements for various clients. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting your team with day-to-day financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare year-end financial statements for clients

* Support the team with day-to-day financial tasks

What We Offer:

We provide a comprehensive training program that includes on-the-job training, in-house development sessions, and studying for the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting qualification. You'll become proficient in accounting software, Excel, and Outlook, while developing core skills like analysis, problem-solving, and communication.
