Zephyr Accounting Limited is seeking a highly motivated and organized Accounts Assistant Apprentice to support the Head of Accounts in providing exceptional accounting services to clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Bookkeeping for various clients using QuickBooks and Xero
  • Preparing financial documents, including invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
  • Data entry in MS Excel for records not maintained in software
  • Participating in monthly payroll processing
  • Preparing and filing VAT returns
  • Preparing and filing CIS returns
  • Assisting company accountants with statutory accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Self-assessment returns
  • Additional ad-hoc duties as required
