Night Auditor

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at The Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh. As a Night Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk and night audit processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Engagement: Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring a warm welcome and departure experience for our guests.
- Night Operations: Manage night arrivals and departures, reservations, payments, and rate discrepancies.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: Take initiative to accommodate guests' needs in a resourceful manner.
- Administrative Tasks: Ensure accurate completion of End of Day reports and night auditing sheets.
- Team Collaboration: Provide full handovers to relevant parties/shifts, ensuring seamless communication and continuity.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent guest engagement skills and the ability to bring the guest experience to life throughout the hotel.
- Technical Skills: Willingness to learn and work with IT systems quickly.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to communicate and organize yourself in line with different guest expectations.
- Language Skills: A good command of English is essential, with a second language advantageous.
